Assembly Method Modular Construction Versatility in layout, size and location - We offer the maximum flexibility to suit your individual cold room requirements with precision engineered 100% polyurethane insulated panels. No wood or structural members are required in our panels. The foamed-in-place urethane panel is 3" or 4" thick and is available with a standard finish of oven baked white vitreous enamel or optional smooth, embossed, stainless steel, aluminum and galvanized steel finishes. Urethane Insulation - Foamed-in-place polyurethane with its very high strength/weight ratio, closed cell insulation properties and low density is used in all our panels. Polyurethane has double the insulation value (K=.12 or R8 per inch) of conventional materials. Example…Our 4" panel thickness is equal to 8½" of fiberglass insulation and it's peak insulation efficiency remains constant over time. Convenience Store Refrigeration's walk-in cooler/freezers are vermin proof and odor free. Panel Sections Walls and Corners - Corners are built as part of the wall panel with die formed 90° angled section to provide a strong and rigid structure. Wall panels are available in 12" to 60" widths. Our walk-in boxes are available in any length, width and height combination of our standard sized panels in 15mm increments up to warehouse sized. Ceiling and Floor - Ceiling and floor panels are available in 12" to 60" widths. Ceiling and floors are supplied in stock lengths of 4' to 14' in 6" increments. Panel Fasteners - Our cam-lok panel fasteners are permanently foamed-in-place in the exact position for perfect alignment and easy of assembly with the use of a simple hexagon wrench. The cam-lok arm assembly in one panel engages the pin assembly of the adjacent panel and draws, secures and locks the panels together forming a vapor tight, urethane to urethane panel joint without the use of gaskets. Floors - Our prefabricated urethane floor panels are leveled and placed in position on an existing building floor. For installation direct onto concrete floors: 1) perimeter floor screeds are positioned and fastened. 2) Insulated concrete floor is provided by others. Doors - Features our standard door, an in-fitting type with a unique, patent pending, fiberglass door frame that maintains a vapor proof barrier and virtually eliminates the formation of frost and condensation. The door utilizes a soft balloon type compression gasket to maintain a tight seal yet is flexible at any temperature. Standard door size is 34 "x 78" with other sizes available. (Also available in a out-fitting door configuration). Assembly - Our walk-ins are designed for fast and easy installation. precision formed panels with urethane insulation are lightweight and easy to handle. On average, two inexperienced workers can assemble an 8' x 10' walk-in in less than one hour and in four easy steps. Position numbered floor panels on walk-in site. If necessary, shim sections to level panels in position. When level and square, tighten all cam-loks Place first corner panel using correct number and layout guide. Join correct wall panels to each side of corner panel. Proceed in each direction until complete assembly of wall panels. Staring with door panel, tighten all cam-loks. Assemble ceiling panels at either end of walk-in. After entire ceiling is joined tighten cam-loks to vertical wall panels. Insert plugs into lock holes. Set door onto hinges on door panel. Structural Support - Cold storage rooms wider than 10' require suspension of the insulated ceiling from the building structure.
